Two ERAMET sites were newly ISO 14001 certified in 2013, bringing the total number of Groupe units with this international label for their environmental management system to 33.
The two units certified in 2013 are based in France: SUPA (Société d’Usinage des Pyrénées Ariégeoises) and UKAD.
The Groupe’s target for this certification only concerns 46 sites in 2013, compared with 57 in previous years. Sites that have shut down were removed from the assessment scope, as were distribution centres and some small units with risks of significant environmental impact. 72% of the units concerned in 2013 were certified.
