The Aubert & Duval foundation was created in 2010 to support projects and organisations that contribute to the development and life of its host regions. Twelve projects received aid from the foundation in 2012: eight in Auvergne, one in Burgundy and three in the Midi-Pyrénées (France).

The Aubert & Duval foundation has two goals: the vitality of local areas and the development of people. “Through cultural, business, educational or tourism projects, we want our environment to be full of opportunities for the areas where we work and the people who live there,” explains foundation Chairman Philippe Gundermann.

The foundation is still very young.  It can help an organisation by funding part of its operating costs but it is not the sole sponsor of the organisations it supports. 12 projects are currently supported by the foundation:  6 focus on sport and 6 on culture. In 2013, the Aubert & Duval foundation intends to support the creation of “Maison de l’alternance des Combrailles” near its Les Ancizes site in Auvergne. This structure will provide satisfactory housing for students on internships in the region.
