To better communicate its ESG progress indicators, Eramet has developed a brand new tool to make it easier to read its CSR performance.

Since 2018, Eramet has been implementing an ambitious strategy, combining operational excellence and CSR excellence: the Group has set itself the goal of being a committed, civic-minded partner that contributes to the well-being of people, its environment and the planet.

Convinced that transparency encourages responsibility, corporate commitment and dialogue with its stakeholders, Eramet has chosen to publish most of its ESG indicators in an interactive tool that allows users to analyze data trends.

What does “ESG” mean?

Environment, Social and Governance: these are the criteria on which companies are assessed by non-financial rating agencies.

This reporting tool, available in French and English, includes Eramet’s CSR roadmap and Group KPIs concerning Eramet’s commitments to :

  • climate,
  • the environment,
  • health and safety,
  • employees,
  • communities
  • the value chain.

All data are taken directly from Eramet’s Universal Registration Document.

An innovative tool for better communication

Although regulations tend to impose ever greater transparency on companies, this new tool is the fruit of a voluntary approach by Eramet.

This innovative project to communicate CSR performance was spearheaded by Bérengère Papin, ESG Performance Manager, Chloé Bonnat, ESG Performance Coordinator, and Chung Manfoumbi, CSR Digital Officer.

Our aim was to communicate raw data, to facilitate the analysis of extra-financial rating agencies in particular,” they explain. “We also receive a lot of questions from our stakeholders, investors, customers and agencies. This tool can give them access to answers. In short: it facilitates our reporting work and opens up dialogue.

Also with a view to transparency, Eramet is committed to IRMA certification, the benchmark for responsible mining, by 2022.
