An ERAMET Groupe subsidiary through COMILOG, Maboumine has switched on its own website to let everyone find out about this mining and industrial project and keep up with its progress.
maboumine.com is designed to inform the general public about the mining and processing of the polymetallic deposit in Mabounié, Gabon, which includes niobium, rare earths and uranium.
From the home page, with just a click visitors can see an overview of the project, its latest news and the key data in “wallzine” format. R&D and innovation in processing are also highlighted with a dedicated section. The website’s educational mission is reflected in a section in the uses and applications of the metals in the deposit but also the use of many illustrations, photos and videos, for example to explain all the R&D stages leading up to the building of a pilot plant.
maboumine.com’s graphics and architecture are designed to give visitors an innovative, intuitive experience while guiding them according to their needs. The lightweight version of the website also reflects the desire to take into account the connection difficulties that exist in countries like Gabon, while its compatibility with tablets and smartphones is in line with the growth in mobile browsing.
The website is currently available in French with an English version coming soon.
