Loïse Tamalgo has been appointed Eramet’s General Delegate in Gabon, effective July 12, 2021. Based in Libreville, he will report to Kleber Silva, Deputy CEO in charge of the Mining and Metals Division, and to Virginie de Chassey, Executive Senior Vice-President of Sustainability & Corporate Engagement. He takes over from Gaëtan Halna du Fretay.

Loïse Tamalgo has some 20 years’ experience in guiding socio-economic development projects and managing partnerships and community relations programs on the African continent.

Eramet’s new General Delegate in Gabon will be responsible for supporting the development of the activities of the Group’s two subsidiaries, Comilog and Setrag, under the terms of the partnership between Eramet and the Gabonese government, which was further strengthened in 2020 by the creation of two CSR funds to finance new programs for the benefit of the country’s citizens. He will represent the Eramet group in Gabon and will actively work to maintain close relations with the country’s authorities, government departments, NGOs and international missions.
