In a new Wall Street Journal ranking, Eramet is among the world’s top 100 best-managed listed companies in terms of sustainability.

The Wall Street Journal, the famous American daily newspaper specialising in financial news, recently published its ranking of the 100 most responsible companies in the world in terms of CSR management, all listed on the stock exchange and all sectors combined.

Eramet is one of the nine French groups in the ranking, alongside Arkema, Saint-Gobain, Kering, Alstom, Total, Casino, Faurecia and Schneider.

This ranking is the result of a rigorous analysis of 5,500 companies worldwide, based on more than one hundred criteria. To conduct this analysis, the Wall Street Journal’s ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) teams used artificial intelligence to scan public company data against 165 criteria. The assessment was based on the measures and means (policies, initiatives, monitoring) deployed in terms of sustainable development, environmental and human capital management, and innovation.

Having recently been awarded a prize by the specialist agencies Vigeo Eiris and ISS ESG, and recognised by Le Point and Statista as a socially responsible company, the Group has once again been rewarded with a place in this international ranking. A strong mark of recognition for Eramet’s CSR governance and transparency, and for the collective effort made over nearly two years to achieve the objectives set out in the Group’s CSR roadmap.
