The 19th edition of the Financial Director’s Trophy took place last night in Paris. Thomas Devedjian, Deputy General Manager of the Eramet Groupe, in charge of finance and digital, won the Special Jury Prize.

“Now the role of the CFO means being fully involved in the transformation of the company. The CFO is a decision-maker, he must position himself on substantive topics such as the sustainability of the company and the relevance of its business model” says the National Association of Financial Directors and Management Controllers (DFCG), which has contributed for twenty years to highlight this demanding job facing many challenges.

Wednesday, December 12th, in front of an audience of professional experts in Finance – DFCG, Morgan Philips Hudson, PwC and Workday, Thomas Devedjian was awarded with the Special Jury Prize to, as Deputy General Manager of the Eramet Groupe, in charge of finance and digital. The jury, composed of finance and management professionals, wanted to underline the quality of the Laureate’s professional career and his essential contribution to the transformation of his company.

Graduate of the Institute of Political Studies of Paris (IEP) and the School of the Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC), former student of the National School of Administration (ENA), Thomas Devedjian held various positions of responsibility in the Administration and has been a technical advisor to various Finance French Ministers. After having been Deputy Director of Investments at EURAZEO, he joined in 2009 the Strategic Investment Fund (FSI), later integrated into Bpifrance, as Director and Member of the Executive Committee. Before joining Eramet, he was Investment Director of YAM Invest and General Manager of Time for Growth.
