May 16, 2012, the AREVA Groupe sold its stake in ERAMET to the FSI, Strategic Investment Fund.
Created in 2008 by the French government, the role of the Strategic Investment Fund is to assist French companies in the medium and long term whose growth projects promote competitiveness for the country. The arrival of this new shareholder marks an acknowledgement by the French government on the strategic importance of the ERAMET Groupe’s activity and also contributes to the stability of the Groupe’s shareholding.
