Our safety results have improved steadily in recent years. Since 2018, the TF2 (accident frequency rate) has been reduced fivefold, making Eramet one of the leader in the sector when it comes to safety.
The key to our progress and our day-to-day safety performance is the change in the mindset and behavior of our employees across all our sites, based on the development of a robust, shared safety culture.
To help them implement and maintain this safety culture in their day-to-day work, our teams can draw on a range of tailor-made tools designed specifically with their activities in mind.
Ensuring a healthy working environment
Eramet is committed to providing its employees with healthy working conditions, whether from a physical or psychological standpoint.
To make this commitment a reality, Eramet has adopted a Health Policy whose main objectives are to:
- Contribute actively to scientific research on the risks inherent in our processes and products
- Reduce the health risks associated with work or the health impact of the Group’s industrial activities and products
- Comply with local regulations, current norms and Group health standards
- Implement the necessary measures to ensure this health policy is put into practice
This policy applies not only to employees, but also to subcontractors, visitors and the communities living near our sites.
Maintaining health in extreme working environments
Because of their altitude, extreme climate, and isolation, some Eramet sites are deemed extreme or even hostile environments, making healthcare and access to treatment more complex.
