On May 26, 2025, following its Annual General Meeting, Eramet took a new step in the evolution of its governance with the appointment of Paulo Castellari as Chief Executive Officer. This decision marks the separation of the roles of Chair of the Board and Chief Executive Officer.

This change follows the announcement made on January 21 by Christel Bories, then Chair and CEO, of her intention to continue serving as Chair while stepping down from her executive duties at the end of her current term. The Board of Directors renewed her mandate as Chair for a four-year term, acknowledging her commitment and leadership in the Group’s transformation since 2017.

Paulo Castellari, who succeeds Christel Bories as CEO, brings over 30 years of solid experience in the mining and metals sector, gained within international groups across the Americas, Europe, and Africa. His expertise in managing complex operations, financial oversight, and strategic projects is an asset to support Eramet’s growth trajectory.
