A graduate of the École normale supérieure and the Corps des Mines, and holder of a PhD in Applied Mathematics, Julien Burdeau has built extensive experience across a range of environments, including the French Ministry of Industry, as well as the stainless-steel industry (Aperam), the LNG sector (Gaztransport & Technigaz), and the high-performance alloys industry (Aubert & Duval).

In his previous position as Director of Decarbonization, Julien Burdeau has played a key role in defining and deploying the Group’s decarbonization strategy, working closely with the business units to reconcile climate ambition, industrial performance and long-term competitiveness.
