Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)

Determined to make a contribution to the world around it, Eramet has drawn up a concrete action plan that is formalized in its 2018-2023 CSR roadmap. Through this, the Group provides a specific response to several of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) set by the United Nations.

In 2015, the United Nations adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which serve as 17 priorities for development that is socially equitable, environmentally safe, economically prosperous, inclusive and predictable by 2030. These include the fight against climate change, reducing inequalities and providing access to clean mobility. Each of the CSR actions initiated by Eramet contributes to one of these global goals.

Eramet makes a particular contribution to three Sustainable Development Goals:

  • SDG 8 for the creation and provision of decent work and economic growth;
  • SDG 12 notably through the sustainable management of human resources, waste reduction and corporate social responsibility targets;
  • SDG 13 with actions on the energy and climate footprint and its positioning on the metals of the energy transition.
