Indonesia – Women’s Entrepreneurship as a Driver of Empowerment

On June 24, 2025, in Jakarta, Eramet officially launched Women for Future Indonesia in partnership with the YCAB Foundation and the Indonesian Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. The program will support 600 women entrepreneurs in Jakarta and Ternate over a two-year period. These women, who run micro-enterprises and come from modest backgrounds, will receive comprehensive training in financial literacy and digital marketing. At the end of the program, 75 of them will be awarded a $500 grant to accelerate the development of their businesses.

In a country where over 64% of micro-enterprises are led by women, yet access to training, funding, and digital tools remains unequal, this program aims to remove barriers to growth and spark lasting change in their live.

Gabon – A Springboard for hundreds of women

Women For Future reached a new milestone with the graduation of its third cohort in Gabon, in partnership with WIA Philanthropy. Since 2022, more than 500 women entrepreneurs have been supported — far exceeding the initial goal of 130 beneficiaries over three years.

Active in sectors ranging from agriculture to fashion and consulting, some entrepreneurs received long-term, tailored support as “champions” of the program. In parallel, intensive bootcamps were held in Libreville and Moanda, open to other women eager to strengthen their entrepreneurial skills.

In 2025, Women For Future gradually expand to more regions to reach women who are currently underserved by support programs.

I (re)learned to believe in myself. After nearly two years without production or market access, I found my inner strength again. I worked on my resilience, my image, my branding. It was more than a professional space — it was a rebirth.

SenegalStrengthening Human Skills

For its second cohort in Senegal, Women For Future, in partnership with WIA Philanthropy, expanded into the regions of Kébémer and Louga, following a first edition in Thiès and Dakar.

This expansion enabled over 300 women to take part in intensive bootcamps focused on developing soft skills — essential for entrepreneurial success. During training sessions, participants reflected on their personal posture and better understood their interactions, both in family life and in business. With practical tools, they learned to defuse conflicts and strengthen their ability to take action in daily life.

I learned, I discovered, and I broadened my vision of how to manage and grow my business. I was able to delegate responsibilities and take care of my health while keeping my business on track. Thank you so much!
