At Eramet, labor relations take place at several levels:
- Local: issues specific to each site, region or country are dealt with locally.
- Internationally: issues that affect all Group employees are addressed within the framework of the Eramet Global Forum, the global employee representative body.
Eramet Global Forum: strengthening labor relations worldwide
Given that over 80% of its workforce is based outside Europe, the Group decided to set up a global labor relations forum.
Created in 2023, the Eramet Global Forum (EGF) brings together Eramet management and employee representatives from the main countries where the Group operates. Together, they promote and maintain an open dialogue that is respectful of local cultures, with two main objectives:
- To Give employees a voice on issues of key importance to the Group’s future: the Group’s senior management shares Eramet’s latest news with EGF members (challenges, markets, projects, CSR, diversity and inclusion, quality of life in the workplace).
- To jointly negotiate agreements applicable to all Group employees, regardless of their country of assignment, across a range of issues such as social benefits, well-being and quality of life in the workplace, diversity and inclusion, and parenting, in addition to local initiatives.
