Cette technologie de pointe permet d&rsquo;obtenir un carbonate de lithium durable et tr\u00e8s performant, adapt\u00e9 aux batteries des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques. La premi\u00e8re usine de Centenario est con\u00e7ue pour extraire et produire 24 000 t\/an de carbonate de lithium de qualit\u00e9 batterie et, \u00e0 pleine capacit\u00e9, devrait se situer dans le premier quartile de la courbe des co\u00fbts de l&rsquo;industrie du lithium. Cette premi\u00e8re production de carbonate de lithium intervient moins de trois ans apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9marrage de la construction de l\u2019usine.<\/p>\n<p>Les ressources min\u00e9rales drainables du salar de Centenario-Ratones s&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e8vent \u00e0 plus de 15 Mt d&rsquo;\u00c9quivalent en Carbonate de Lithium (\u00ab\u00a0LCE\u00a0\u00bb)[1], avec une concentration moyenne de 407 mg\/L de lithium contenu dans la saumure.
