La 3\u00e8me \u00e9dition du New York Forum Africa (NYFA) s\u2019est tenue du 23 au 25 mai dernier \u00e0 Libreville, au Gabon, r\u00e9unissant plusieurs centaines de participants pour \u00e9changer autour du th\u00e8me \u00ab\u00a0La transformation d\u2019un continent\u00a0\u00bb. Le Groupe ERAMET et ses filiales locales y ont pris part pour pr\u00e9senter leurs activit\u00e9s et projets.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Pour ERAMET, le New York Forum Africa 2014<\/a> a constitu\u00e9 une opportunit\u00e9 pour pr\u00e9senter ses projets gabonais \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents partenaires. Engag\u00e9 au Gabon depuis plus de 50 ans par l\u2019interm\u00e9diaire de sa filiale COMILOG<\/a>, le Groupe produit du minerai et de l\u2019agglom\u00e9r\u00e9 de mangan\u00e8se \u00e0 Moanda<\/a> et d\u00e9veloppe actuellement deux nouvelles usines : l\u2019une d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la production d\u2019un alliage de mangan\u00e8se (le silicomangan\u00e8se) et l\u2019autre \u00e0 celle de mangan\u00e8se m\u00e9tal. Il \u00e9tudie \u00e9galement l\u2019exploitation d\u2019un gisement polym\u00e9tallique avec sa filiale Maboumine<\/a>. ERAMET est par ailleurs largement impliqu\u00e9 dans le d\u00e9veloppement local<\/a>, en soutenant par exemple la cr\u00e9ation de l\u2019Ecole des Mines et de la M\u00e9tallurgie de Moanda, qui formera ing\u00e9nieurs et techniciens sup\u00e9rieurs.<\/p>\n

A l\u2019occasion de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement \u00e9conomique majeur que constitue le New York Forum Africa, des repr\u00e9sentants de chacune des filiales locales du Groupe (COMILOG, Maboumine, SETRAG, SODEPAL et SOMIVAB) ont tenu un stand commun d\u2019information.
