Pero \u00bfsab\u00edas que el manganeso, que se utiliza principalmente para fabricar acero, tambi\u00e9n es necesario para fabricar este tipo de bater\u00edas?<\/p>\n<p>Dentro de la gran familia de las bater\u00edas de litio, existen varias subcategor\u00edas de productos, como las bater\u00edas LFP (Litio, Hierro, Fosfato) o las bater\u00edas NMC (N\u00edquel, Manganeso, Cobalto). Aunque estas \u00faltimas s\u00f3lo contienen peque\u00f1as cantidades de manganeso, \u00e9ste es esencial para la fabricaci\u00f3n de los c\u00e1todos por los que circula la corriente. Y adem\u00e1s de ser muy resistentes, las bater\u00edas NMC tambi\u00e9n tienen la ventaja de ser m\u00e1s ligeras y r\u00e1pidas de recargar que las LFP.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfDe d\u00f3nde procede el manganeso? Hoy en d\u00eda, la mayor parte de la producci\u00f3n tiene lugar en China, por lo que es importante asegurarse el suministro de otras fuentes. De hecho, la cartera de productos de Eramet incluye todos los elementos necesarios para fabricar bater\u00edas y, m\u00e1s ampliamente, para la transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica: manganeso a trav\u00e9s de Comilog y Setrag en Gab\u00f3n; litio con la mina Centenario en Argentina; y n\u00edquel en Weda Bay en Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abHay un inter\u00e9s renovado por el manganeso, y nuestro mineral es especialmente apreciado por su calidad y los compromisos de RSE asociados a su producci\u00f3n<\/em>\u00ab, explica Thomas Dugravot, Senior Sales Manager BU Manganese. \u00abHay <em>futuro en este sector. En virtud del acuerdo, Eramet suministrar\u00e1 mineral de manganeso a Vibrantz durante un periodo de 10 a\u00f1os para impulsar la producci\u00f3n de sulfato de manganeso, un ingrediente clave en los c\u00e1todos de las bater\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>Los dos socios tambi\u00e9n quieren contribuir a una industria responsable.
