A Chief Engineer of the French Corps des Mines, he is a graduate of Mines Paris and the \u00c9cole Normale Sup\u00e9rieure de Lyon. He began his career in the French state civil service, serving notably as Economic Advisor to the Prefect of the Pays de la Loire region before joining the General Secretariat for Investment (SGPI), under the authority of the Prime Minister, as Deputy Director for Industry and Services.
