These exceptional results are due to the use of decarbonized electricity in Norway and France, combined with advanced production processes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Verified carbon intensity:<\/strong>eraLow products come with a verified carbon intensity assurance statement by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dnv.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DNV<\/a>, an internationally recognized third party.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Transparency throughout the value chain:<\/strong>eraLow products are tracked using eraTrace, Eramet&#8217;s traceability platform utilizing blockchain technology and offering a digital passport for each order.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A production process meeting the highest ESG standards in the industry:<\/strong>Eramet&#8217;s plants are ISO 50001 (energy) and ISO 14001 (environment) certified. The Group&#8217;s overall performance has been rated &#8220;Silver&#8221; by Ecovadis, as well as A- for climate and B for water security by the CDP.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A first step towards zero-CO2 manganese alloy production:<\/strong>Eramet&#8217;s ultimate ambition is to provide its steelmaking clients with zero-CO2 emission manganese alloys to support their own decarbonization efforts. Other projects are also being studied: Eramet is currently building a unique pilot plant at its Sauda plant in Norway to test innovative technologies that could enable the capture and storage of CO2 emitted by furnaces.
