Gender equality is a long-term commitment for the Eramet Group. Women account for 18.5% of the total workforce1<\/sup>, and 25.7% of its management workforce.\u00a0Action has been taken both Group-wide<\/a>\u00a0and locally in order to promote our careers to women and highlight the provisions of our collective gender-equality agreements, which have been signed at numerous sites in France.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In May 2018, the French government presented a comprehensive action plan to combat sexist and sexual violence and put an end to the gender pay gap. Legislative measures were adopted in the \u201cAct for the Freedom to Choose One\u2019s Future Career,\u201d promulgated on September 5, 2018.<\/p>\n

Within this framework, a gender equality index has been put in place by the French government, comprising 4 to 5 indicators depending on whether the company has less than or more than 250 employees, and giving a score out of 100. This index must be published annually.<\/p>\n
