J\u00e9r\u00f4me Fabre, currently Senior Vice President of the High Performance Alloys Division and member of the Executive Committee of the Eramet group, will join SLN as Chief Executive Officer on May 12, 2023. He succeeds Guillaume Verschaeve.<\/p>\n

After two and a half years as General Manager of SLN, Guillaume Verschaeve is taking on a new challenge within the Group.<\/p>\n

In addition to his extensive knowledge of New Caledonia and SLN, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Fabre will bring his managerial experience in demanding contexts and will have the specific mission of working with the various stakeholders to build a solution for SLN that preserves the interests of the Group and its subsidiary.<\/p>\n

The Group extends its sincere thanks to Guillaume Verschaeve for his commitment to SLN and wishes J\u00e9r\u00f4me Fabre every success in his new mandate.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

J\u00e9r\u00f4me Fabre was appointed Director and Chief Executive Officer of Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Le Nickel \u2013 SLN, a subsidiary of the Eramet group in New Caledonia<\/em>,\u00a0by the Board of Directors on April 26, 2023.<\/em><\/p>\n

Previously, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Fabre was Senior Vice President of the High-Performance Alloys Division and a member of the Executive Committee of the Eramet group since February 2018. In this capacity, he chaired Aubert & Duval and Erasteel, recognized players in the markets of special steels and high-performance alloys for the Aeronautic, Energy and Defense markets.<\/em><\/p>\n

Previously, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Fabre was Director \u2013 Chief Executive Officer of Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Le Nickel \u2013 SLN, a global producer of ferronickel, which he joined in January 2014 as Deputy Chief Executive Officer.<\/em><\/p>\n

J\u00e9r\u00f4me Fabre joined the Eramet group in early 2009 as Director of Strategy and Development at Eramet Nickel.<\/em><\/p>\n

Before Eramet, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Fabre worked for the State for 9 years. He held various positions at the General Directorate of the Treasury of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (2000-2005). He was then posted in Washington D.C., at the Embassy of France in the United States from 2005 to 2007, as Economic and Industrial Counselor and Deputy Minister Counselor for Economic Affairs. Finally, during his last two years in the service of the State, he was technical advisor for industrial affairs to the Minister of State, Minister of Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development and Regional Planning (2007-2009).<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>
