2022<\/li>\n<li><strong>Contrasting operational<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>performance<\/strong>\u00a0across activities, given the incidents, now resolved, that impacted Q1:\n<ul>\n<li>-18% in volumes of manganese ore sold externally in Gabon, following the landslide at end-2022 that halted activity over January<\/li>\n<li>+89% in volumes of nickel ore sold externally in Indonesia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Significant decline in selling prices compared to Q1 2022<\/strong>\u00a0particularly for manganese alloys, of which prices were exceptionally at that time, but also for Class II nickel (NPI and ferronickel)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Input costs remain high<\/strong>, albeit with a trend reversal in freight and reducing agent prices<\/li>\n<li>Strength of Eramet&#8217;s financial profile:\u00a0<strong>first financial ratings obtained<\/strong>\u00a0from Fitch (BB+) and Moody\u2019s (Ba2)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Liquidity remains at a high level\u00a0<\/strong>contributing to secure the Group&#8217;s financing plan<\/li>\n<li><strong>The outlook for 2023\u00a0<\/strong>is, as expected, set against the background of a less buoyant macroeconomic context.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Adjusted\u00a0<\/strong>EBITDA is revised slightly downwards to\u00a0<strong>around \u20ac1.1bn<\/strong>\u00a0in 2023, factoring in:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A more significant trend reversal in Class II nickel prices<\/strong>\u00a0at the beginning of the year<\/li>\n<li><strong>A target for manganese ore<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>transported volumes<\/strong>\u00a0revised downwards to\u00a0<strong>more than 7 Mt<\/strong>, given the non-recurring logistical incidents at the beginning of the year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The Group continues to focus on cost control, productivity actions and cash generation, while\u00a0preparing its growth projects in the energy transition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><sup>1<\/sup>Definitions of adjusted in the financial rating assigned to Eramet by two leading agencies. These ratings will support the Group in securing and diversify-ing its financing plan.<br \/>\nAs we had anticipated, the first quarter is characterised by a depressed economic context and a significantly less favourable price environment.
