On October 10th, 2016 Aubert & Duval, an ERAMET Groupe subsidiary, received an award from the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA). The Powder Metallurgy Component Award recognises the company’s expertise in designing and manufacturing parts by hot isostatic pressing (HIP).
Aubert & Duval won the HIP category award for an aircraft turbine part developed jointly with Avio Aero and Politecnico di Torino using the HIP powder metallurgy process.
The Powder Metallurgy Component Awards are given out at World PM, a trade conference organised every 6 years by EPMA for powder metallurgy suppliers, producers and customers. The 2016 event took place in October in Hamburg, Germany.
